Former farm house gets the royal treatment!
In just under a year, Everts Lind Enterprises performed a complete transformation of
this 1920s, formerly "Four Square" farm house.
"We removed the back porch, rebuilt the third-story widow's walk and the entire back half of the house,"
recalls Richard Lind. "We added two wings, a bay window tower, a two storey verandah, and two porches.
We installed 47 windows and doors all in new locations, installed new roofing and siding, provided all new wiring,
plumbing, heating, drywall and trims. The interior doors, trims and hardware were designed to be historically
correct."
The downstairs master suite was once the living room and parlor. The second new wing houses the ensuite bathroom
and dressing room. The upstairs four bedrooms are now three bedrooms and a sewing room.
Richard is quick to share the credit for this remarkable project: "Jamie Meisner was our foreman - the crew had about six
carpenters," he says, before noting the other contractors involved:
